Tournament Information 2026

ⓘ EOI for 2026 All players interested in SWC 2026 will be required to complete an EOI - to be posted mid 2025. Please check back for updates

Dates: January 12 - 16, 2026 (TBC)

Tournament dates will be confirmed when the EOI is announced, around mid 2025. Plan for the second – third week of January with some time either side of the tournament for extra training, city sightseeing and other activities you might be interested in. The city of Stockholm has a lot to offer and isn’t far from great ski resorts if you’d like to combine the tournament with further travels.

Tournament organizers do request that players are in Stockholm with more than a day prior to the first game.

Accommodation

We suggest players and families to stay at ApartDirect in Hammarby Sjöstad. They offer studio apartments or 2 room apartments that include a kitchenette and washer/dryer. We can assist with bookings if you’d like to reach out.

Airport Transfers

Taxi or Uber are both options to get to and from Arlanda Airport, however the airport bus is the easiest way to go, by far.

Flygbussarna is a reliable Airport Transport Bus to and from Arlanda Airport. Ride the Liljeholmen bus all the way to the terminal station at Liljeholmen. From there, you’ll catch the tram (“Tvärbanan) towards Sickla and get off at Sickla Kaj.

The bus leaves from Terminal 4 (international flights arrive at Terminal 5).

Other Transportation

Organizers are hoping to arrange coach transfers between accommodation and trainings/games for 2026, however this will depend on the number of players attending. If there are enough players to justify booking coaches, the cost will be bundled into the tournament fees.

It’s recommended to purchase an SL travel card for travel around Stockholm, using their trams, buses, (some)boats and subways. Transport cards (SL cards) can be purchased at Pressbyran (convenience) stores. Alternatively, you can use your credit/debit card to “tap on” for all public transit.

Tournament Location: Danderydsvallen Outdoor Rink
